Dual Cut by Kitmen Keung

To create something new and creative, the designers kept racing to continue to conduct experiments that could provide something new for the world of furniture design. A bit of innovation and experiment, a designer can create a furniture that previously might not thought by furniture lovers.

An innovation that is always they wait to beautify their lovely home. Here is an example. Designer Kitmen Keung did a simple experiment by slicing a cube into two separate asymmetrical parts and the result couldn’t be more practical. Then this furniture called as Dual Cut.

This versatile furniture is an interesting furniture piece consisting of a lounge chair and ottoman which can be merged together to form a third furniture piece (a desk or a table). Dual Cut features two ergonomically comfortable seat back angle options of 6° and 23°.

Splitting a raw rectangular foam block with only two L-shaped cut lines, the Dual Cut Chair and ottoman employs the simplest production processes true to the materials. With minimalist form and dark color, this furniture is deceptively simple, but I’m sure it can bring a new atmosphere and gives the luxury impression into a space. Besides giving the functionality impression, this furniture also offers good comfort and visually interesting as well. [via]
